A few years ago, I looked at my digital life and realized it was just as messy as a cluttered room. My phone was a chaotic grid of random apps, my schedule was scattered across ugly spreadsheets, and my recipes were lost in endless screenshots. I was desperate to get organized, but every digital tool I tried felt rigid, corporate, and uninspiring.
Since I couldn’t find what I was looking for, I decided to build it myself. Working completely on my own from my desk, I started redesigning my iOS home screen with calming icons and built a digital planner in a soft palette of sage greens and dusty roses. The shift was instant. By combining beautiful design with everyday functionality, my screens went from being a source of anxiety to a source of inspiration.
In the beginning, Layout Nook was a one-person passion project. I designed every template, linked every planner tab, and answered every email myself. But as more people discovered our templates and the demand grew, so did the vision. I realized that to truly help as many people as possible, I couldn’t do it alone.
I brought together a small, incredibly talented team of like-minded designers and organizers. Today, our shared goal is to expand our reach, welcome more customers into our world, and create a wider variety of premium tools that simplify your daily life.
