Welcome to your Layout Nook setup guide! We have designed our digital products to be as intuitive and user-friendly as possible.
Choose the product you need help with below, and follow the step-by-step instructions to get started.
1. Digital Planners & Recipe Books
Our digital planners and recipe books are interactive PDF files designed to be used with a note-taking app on a tablet with a stylus.
Recommended Apps: GoodNotes 6 (iOS), Notability (iOS), Penly (Android), or Xodo (Android/Windows).
How to Import into GoodNotes (iPad):
- Download your planner from your Layout Nook email or account and select Save to Files.
- Open the GoodNotes app on your iPad.
- Tap the + New button and select Import.
- Locate the planner file in your Files app and tap to open it.
How to Use Hyperlinks (Important!): In most note-taking apps like GoodNotes, hyperlinks will only work when you are in “Read-Only” or “View” mode.
- To click tabs and jump around your planner, ensure your pen tool is toggled OFF.
- To write in your planner, toggle the pen tool ON (this will temporarily disable the hyperlinks so you don’t accidentally click them while writing).
